In order to maintain a professional library environment and respect the needs of other library users, the following are prohibited:
Food & Drink Policy
Tidy snacks that can be eaten quietly are allowed in the library. Nothing messy, smelly or noisy is allowed. This includes study rooms. Please eat meals outside of the library. Non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Pick up after yourself and dispose of trash and recyclables in appropriate receptacles. Report spills to library staff.

Law students may send and receive faxes at the circulation desk. There is no charge for this service. Fax number: 503-370-6579
Willamette ID cards also serve as debit cards that can be used for goods and services across campus. Add value to your card at the vending machince located near the circulation desk.
During the regular academic schedule, the library is open to all from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
Students and Faculty
Law students and law faculty have 24/7 access to the library. After the building is locked at 7:00 p.m., use your Willamette I.D. card to swipe into the building and also at the entrance to the library.
Other Willamette students and faculty may use the law library during regular public hours. Permission to use the law library evenings and weekend may be authorized if there is a special need.
Law Alumni and Attorneys
Law alumni, attorneys and clerks may apply for evening and weekend access through the Law Library Guest Access Program. With a completed application and proper I.D. (photo I.D. and state bar card), the Library will issue a Guest Card that will allow swipe access to the law building and library until 10:00 p.m. during the week and 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on the weekends. This privilege expires one year from date of issue and may be renewed.

Group Study Rooms
Law student study groups may reserve study rooms in advance for 2-hour blocks. Sign-ups are located on the doors of the rooms.
1st Floor: Room 127
2nd Floor: Rooms 232, 234, 239, 240 and 241
3rd Floor: Room 304
This room is available for group study and includes a wall-mounted flat panel monitor for use with laptops.
2nd Floor: Room 238
Scheduled classes have priority in this room but if unscheduled, it may be used for group study. Contact Cherri Miles at firstname.lastname@example.org to make a reservation.
